Daman Club - Responsible Gaming
Daman Club responsible gaming: how to set deposit and time limits, recognise problem-gambling warning signs, self-exclude, and reach confidential 18+ support helplines.
Play within your limits
Responsible gaming at Daman Club starts with a clear personal budget set before you open the app. Decide on a fixed weekly or monthly entertainment allowance, separate from money set aside for rent, groceries, EMIs or savings, and treat that figure as a hard ceiling, not a guideline. A practical starting point for most Indian players is ₹500 to ₹2,000 per month, comparable to what you might spend on OTT subscriptions or a weekend outing.
Never chase losses. If you have reached your self-imposed limit for the day, log out immediately. Chasing losses typically leads to doubling or tripling spend within a single session, and the house edge means the statistical outcome will not change. Set a reminder on your phone or use the session-time alert inside the Daman Club account settings to keep each session under 60 minutes.
Balance gaming with offline activities, sport, family time, a side project, so it remains one small part of a full life rather than the default way to unwind after work.
Warning signs of problem gambling
Problem gambling develops gradually and is often the last thing a person notices about themselves. Watch for these patterns: spending more than planned on three or more consecutive sessions; hiding transactions from a partner or parent by using secondary UPI IDs on PhonePe, GPay or BHIM; borrowing money from friends or using a credit card cash advance specifically to fund gaming; and feeling irritable or anxious on days you do not play.
Emotional signals matter equally. Using Daman Club to escape stress, relationship problems or work pressure rather than for entertainment is a key early warning. So is the feeling that a win brings only brief relief followed by an urge to play again immediately. If you answer yes to two or more of the questions above, treat it as a signal to pause, not to push on.
Deposit, loss and time limits
Daman Club provides three self-imposed limit tools inside your account dashboard under Settings → Responsible Gaming. A deposit limit caps how much you can add to your wallet per day, week or month, for example, setting ₹1,000 per week means any top-up via PhonePe, GPay, BHIM UPI or net banking beyond that amount will be declined until the period resets. A loss limit automatically pauses your session once your net losses in a defined window reach the figure you choose. A session time limit triggers a mandatory break prompt after a duration you set, typically 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
Limits you set take effect immediately. Requests to increase an existing limit are subject to a 48-hour cooling-off period before they activate, giving you time to reconsider. Decreasing a limit, by contrast, takes effect instantly. We recommend reviewing your limits every three months and adjusting them downward if your financial circumstances change.
Self-exclusion and cool-off
If you feel you need a complete break, Daman Club offers two options. A cool-off period suspends your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During this time you cannot log in, deposit or place any bets. Your balance is preserved and becomes accessible again once the period ends. To activate a cool-off, go to Settings → Responsible Gaming → Take a Break and select your preferred duration.
Self-exclusion is a longer-term measure lasting a minimum of 6 months and up to 5 years. Once self-exclusion is active, your account is permanently locked for the chosen period, you cannot reverse or shorten it by contacting support. All pending bonuses are forfeited and marketing communications are stopped immediately. To apply, email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and your registered mobile number. The team processes requests within 24 hours.
